The Ercol Romana Large Extending Table boasts iconic Ercol styling. Beautiful oak veneers and legs with an organic fluid curve characterise Romana furniture. The table features a reciprocating mechanism – pull on one end to extend and the other end opens at the same time. The extension leaf is stored within the table as a butterfly mechanism – it is simply flipped open into place.
This dining table seats eight when closed and ten when extended.

About the Ercol Romana Collection
The Ercol Romana furniture collection has a very modern style, including cabinets and sideboards with a low contemporary outline, but with subtle detailing and soft shapes the range remains understated. Detailing includes shaped legs, whose easy organic lines is testimony to the complexity of manufacture. The shaped edge to the top panels echoes the softness of Ercol Romana vintage mid-century designs, but cut into the carcass it gives a streamlined feel to the silhouette. A high level of craftsmanship is used in creating the organic shapes in the range. Complex construction is further evidenced in flush, sculpted curves across joints, and in the close fit of the curved tops into the recessed tops of the cabinet carcasses.
