Removals/Delivery Driver | Full Time

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, full time driver to work in a two-person crew completing removal work and deliveries around East Anglia. This position involves handling valuable furniture; therefore, experience would be welcome, but is not essential.

What We Are Looking For

Class 2 Driver preferred but not essential
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy items.
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
An individual who enjoys working as part of a team

Catering Assistant | Part Time

We are looking for a part time catering assistant, who must be 17 or over, to work within our busy Place to eat Restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

Duties will include meeting and greeting customers, taking orders at the table, making refreshments, cash handling and clearing tables. You will also be required to help out in other areas when needed.

Every other weekend Saturday 11.00am to 3.30pm and Sunday 12 to 3pm. Overtime may be available.

We have an opening in our Ipswich store for an experienced and highly enthusiastic Sales Adviser to join our Furniture sales team.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to achieve sales targets and have:

The ability to maximise in-store promotions.
A flair for engaging with customers.
The ability to offer advice and assistance to ensure the customer enjoys their entire Glasswells shopping experience.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

Greeting and assisting customers in store
Answering and following up on instore, phone and website enquiries
Preparing quotations
Taking orders in person and over the phone
Maximising add-on sales
Using the company sales programme to process and progress orders. Full training will be given on our company systems and procedures.
