Catering Assistant | Part Time

We are looking for a part time catering assistant, who must be 17 or over, to work within our busy Place to eat Restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

Duties will include meeting and greeting customers, taking orders at the table, making refreshments, cash handling and clearing tables. You will also be required to help out in other areas when needed.

Every other weekend Saturday 11.00am to 3.30pm and Sunday 12 to 3pm. Overtime may be available.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

We are looking for a confident administrator to work on our customer facing Reception desk 15 hours per week. You will have excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality and the ability to work well as part of a team. This varied role includes:

dealing with customer enquiries, both in store and over the telephone,
email and live chat
processing orders on our in-house computer system
taking payments and handling cash
arranging deliveries general post and filing duties.

A good level of I.T. skills are required. This job will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
