Julie has been a fundamental part of Glasswells success these past 30 years.Starting her career as a Personal Assistant to the Sales Director in 1992, Julie was responsible for the sales administration and worked closely with Paul Glasswell, Managing Director, on the importation of goods. Soon after she took on the buying and selection of garden furniture, adding bedroom furniture buying to her duties in 2009 and, more latterly, beds.
Due to Julie’s passion and high standards for her department, Glasswells were winners of two prestigious National Bed Federation awards in 2022; Outstanding Bed Store of the Year and the Large NBF Retail Champion of the Year. The immense choice available in store, paired with exceptional value, means customers can feel reassured when they choose a ‘NBF Approved’ bed from such a long-standing, reliable independent business.
Our huge showrooms present customers with inspirational displays, offering a true representation of how products can look within a home, as well as showing clear pricing and product information. This results in an educated choice being made when selecting from the 100 beds and mattresses on show in our Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich showrooms.
